August Service Change 2026

We’re making some changes to our service from Sunday 30th of August 2026.

Route	What's Changing?
6	This service is resuming to its normal weekday frequency that was increased for the summer period.
9	This route will no longer divert via Penarth Road on Fridays & Saturdays. It will serve the usual stops, apart from Wyndham Arcade.
17/18, 27, 44/45	Revised timetable to better reflect the time some journeys need due to changes in traffic condition, these services are also resuming to their normal weekday frequencies that were reduced for the summer period.
28/29	This route will no longer divert via Westgate Street on Fridays & Saturdays. It will serve the usual stops via Lower Churchill Way.
49/50	These services are resuming to their normal weekday frequencies that were reduced for the summer period.
52	Revised timetable to better reflect the time some journeys need due to changes in traffic conditions.
57/58	The 08:42 will now leave Pontprennau slightly earlier.
604/606	Revised timetable to better reflect the time some journeys need due to changes in traffic conditions. For some stops (particularly around Grangetown and Llandaff) you’ll need to be there a little earlier to make sure you don’t miss the bus!
611	Due to the closure of Bute Street, this service will now operate along a slightly different route. In the morning, it will start from the “Nat West Building” stop at the bottom of Bute Street, then serve stops along Lloyd George Avenue before taking the usual route to school through the city centre. In the afternoon, this service will operate along the A4232 then serve the same stops from Nat West Building on Bute Street along Lloyd George Avenue.
63 & 136	These services will now use Penffordd (Pentyrch) as the terminus instead of Heol Danyrodyn.
91	The last day of this summer special will be the 31st of August.
92/93	Revised timetable to better reflect the time some journeys need due to changes in traffic conditions.
94	Due to busy loadings from Sully to Stanwell School, an extra journey on service 94 will operate on School Days only to provide more capacity. Students from Sully should use this dedicated journey (leaving Sully Church at 0756) to ensure there’s room for all passengers and nobody gets left behind.
95	An additional journey in the weekday afternoons will now serve Barry Island.
Skycar	Our Skycar Service will operate the summer times until the 3rd of September and then will operate on Fridays & Saturdays from the 4th of September until the 3rd of October.
